Can your logo show in the inbox?
Check a domain's BIMI record, its logo and certificate links, and the DMARC policy BIMI depends on. See what's missing before Gmail, Yahoo or Apple Mail will show the logo.
What BIMI needs
What BIMI does
BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) is a TXT record at default._bimi.yourdomain.com that points to your logo. Mailbox providers that support it show the logo next to your emails.
DMARC comes first
Logos only show for domains whose DMARC policy is quarantine or reject and covers all mail. With p=none, the BIMI record is ignored.
The logo and the certificate
The logo must be an SVG in the SVG Tiny PS format, served over https. Gmail and Apple Mail also require a certificate, usually a VMC, which needs a registered trademark. Gmail also accepts a CMC for logos without one. Yahoo can show logos without a certificate.
