Can I use this for IDX/MLS-fed listings?

Yes — drop in the listing details manually, or use your CRM's merge tags ({{property_address}}, {{property_price}}) to auto-fill from your IDX feed. The HTML stays consistent across automated sends.

Will this template work for new construction or pre-sale?

Yes. Swap the "Schedule a showing" CTA for "Reserve your unit" or "Request floor plans" — same template, different CTA.

How often should I email my buyer list?

For active buyers: weekly with new listings matching their criteria. For warm/passive buyers: monthly market updates. Going dark for 30+ days drops your reply rates significantly when you re-engage.

About this Real Estate email template

The New Development Launch email template is built for real estate professionals — agents, brokers, and property marketers who need to send property listings, market updates, and client check-ins that actually get opened. Real estate emails carry high stakes: a single listing email can be the difference between a sale this month and a stale listing. SmartMailing's AI-generated real estate email templates are built around the specifics of property marketing: large hero images, listing details that scan, clear CTAs to schedule a showing or request more info.

When to use this real estate template

New listing announcement

Send to your buyer list within hours of a new property going live. First-look emails close faster than open-market listings.

Open house invitation

Invite warm leads and active buyers to weekend open houses with photos, location, and date prominently placed.

Market update / monthly newsletter

Position yourself as the local market expert with a regular update on prices, inventory, and recent sales in the neighborhood.

Buyer check-in / follow-up

Stay top of mind with buyers who aren't ready yet. A monthly "here's what's new in your search criteria" email keeps the relationship warm.

Best practices for real estate email templates

Lead with a large, professional listing photo. Phone-quality photos cut click-through by 50% — invest in proper photography.
Show price, beds/baths, and square footage above the fold. Buyers scan listings; if they can't see the basics in 2 seconds, they bounce.
One CTA: "Schedule a showing" or "Request more info." Multiple CTAs split clicks and reduce showings booked.
Geographic targeting matters more than design. A perfectly designed email to the wrong buyer pool converts worse than a plain one to the right list.
Mobile-first. 70%+ of real estate emails open on phone — design the listing card to work on a 375px screen first.
Include MLS / property number. Helps buyers reference the listing later and signals legitimacy on first contact.
