How do I add this signature to Gmail?

In Gmail: Settings (gear icon) → See all settings → Signature → Create new. Paste the HTML directly. Gmail strips a few CSS properties but keeps the layout intact for the templates here.

How do I add this signature to Outlook?

In Outlook desktop: File → Options → Mail → Signatures → New. Paste the HTML. For company-wide deployment, IT can push signatures via Group Policy or a tool like Exclaimer.

Will this signature work on mobile?

Yes — the templates are responsive and render correctly in iOS Mail, Gmail mobile, and Outlook mobile. The signature scales down on narrow screens without breaking alignment.

About this Email Signature email template

The Freelancer email signature template is a professional signature block design ready to drop into Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, or any email client that accepts custom HTML signatures. Email signatures are the most-viewed piece of branded content most companies own — every team member sends 30–100 emails a day, and every one of them carries the signature. SmartMailing's AI-generated email signature templates are built for cross-client rendering: Gmail web and mobile, Outlook desktop, Apple Mail, and most webmail clients.

When to use this signature template

Sales reps & account execs

Signature with calendar link, direct dial, and one-click way to book a meeting. Sales signatures should make booking easier, not just look pretty.

Founders & executives

Minimal signature with name, title, and one social link (typically LinkedIn). Founder signatures should signal credibility without distracting.

Customer support / success

Signature that reinforces availability — hours, support links, response time expectations. Reduces "are you still there?" reply emails.

Consultants, freelancers, agencies

Signature with portfolio link, current availability indicator, and contact preferences. Doubles as a passive lead magnet.

Best practices for email signature templates

Keep total height under 200px. Tall signatures dominate the email and look spammy on mobile.
Use web-safe fonts only. Custom fonts drop back to Times New Roman in Outlook — design with that fallback in mind.
Logo as a hosted image, not an attachment. Inline images get stripped or shown as paperclip icons in some clients.
No promotional banners in regular signatures. Save the "book a demo" banner for sales-specific signatures, not company-wide ones.
Test on Outlook 2016 desktop. Most signature bugs (broken alignment, font fallback, color shifts) only show up there.
Centralize the signature for teams. Tools like SmartMailing or Exclaimer let you push one signature across the company instead of letting everyone build their own.
