Will this template work in Klaviyo?

Yes — SmartMailing exports clean HTML that imports directly into Klaviyo as a custom HTML template. Merge tags from Klaviyo (event variables, profile attributes, dynamic blocks) work normally inside the exported HTML.

Can I use this for an abandoned cart sequence?

Yes. Generate one template, then duplicate it across the 3-email sequence (1 hour, 24 hours, 72 hours) and adjust the urgency copy. The visual stays consistent so the sequence feels intentional.

Does it work with Shopify Email?

Yes — the HTML imports into Shopify Email's custom template editor. For more advanced flows (browse abandonment, predictive sends), Klaviyo or Omnisend offer features Shopify Email doesn't.

About this Ecommerce email template

The Win-Back Campaign email template is built for ecommerce brands — Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and DTC businesses sending revenue-driving emails to customers and prospects. Ecommerce email is the highest-ROI channel in marketing: $36 in revenue per $1 spent on average. SmartMailing's AI-generated ecommerce email templates cover the full lifecycle: welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, and seasonal promotions, all designed to convert and built to render correctly in Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Shopify Email, and any ESP.

When to use this ecommerce template

Abandoned cart recovery

Recover lost revenue with a 3-email sequence: 1 hour, 24 hours, 72 hours after abandonment. Each email needs a clear product image, the original cart, and a single "Complete your order" CTA.

Post-purchase thank you

Send within 1 hour of purchase to confirm the order and start building loyalty. Post-purchase opens at 60–80% — second highest after welcome emails.

Product launch / new arrivals

Announce new SKUs to your customer list. Mature ecommerce brands segment by past purchase category for higher relevance.

Loyalty / VIP early access

Reward repeat customers with early access to new products or sales. VIP segments convert at 2–3× the rate of the general list.

Best practices for ecommerce email templates

Lead with the product photo, not the brand. Ecommerce buyers shop visually — the email is a digital storefront.
Show price clearly. Hidden prices reduce click-through; transparent pricing builds trust and qualifies clicks.
Use real product imagery, not lifestyle stock. Branded product shots outperform stock photos by significant margins in click-through rate.
Segment, segment, segment. The single biggest lever in ecommerce email is sending the right product to the right segment, not better copy.
Mobile-first design. 70–80% of ecommerce emails open on mobile; CTAs need to be tappable on a 375px screen.
Pair every campaign with abandoned cart and post-purchase flows. The flows do most of the revenue work; campaigns are the icing.
